Happy Father's Day, Scott!

My kids are so lucky to have such a great daddy!!!

This morning we started our day cuddling in bed with the twins. They were such little lovers and showered us both with hugs and kisses!!! Then we had a 7am breakfast at Ihop!! Yum yum!! After breakfast we took these pictures and then opened gifts. Now we are just relaxing and trying to make room in our bellies for Olive Garden for dinner!!!

I love you, Scott!!! Thank you for always helping with the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Thank you for letting me stay home with our kids. Thank you for having an never ending supply of energy. Thank you for putting up with my crazy picture taking and matching outfits!!! But most of all, thank you for giving me such great kiddos!!!

Love My Little Miss Makenzie!

Makenzie is definatly my little sweetheart! This morning, I had her sitting on the stool so I could do her hair and she just looked at me and said "Mommy, I love you!" Then she put her arms out for a hug. And when I hugged her she gave me a great big kiss too! Then while I was doing her hair, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday. She thought about it for a while and then she said that she wanted "a very beautiful dress." That's my girl!!!!

Scott and I are off to Chandler Mall Movie theater today. They have childcare there!!! Yay! We are going to see an adult movie!!! Then we are going to dinner with Scott's parents to celebrate Father's Day and his mom's birthday. And then tomorrow the kids and I will spoil Scott! He has requested that we go to Olive Garden for dinner.

Getting Ready for Disney!!!

I know! We are not going to Disney until the end of July. But I am already getting some things ready!!! First, do you want to see ONE of the dresses my girls will be wearing in Disney???

Isn't it adorable?! I ordered it from Etsy and cannot wait for them to come. I have a couple other outfits already. It's fair to say that the kids are going to be looking adorable!!!

I am also working on their autograph book. I made one for Kyler when we went to Disney World in January and it was such a hit- that I knew I needed to make one for this trip as well. I make it like a scrapbook. Each layout is dedicated to a different character. And they have room to autograph their page. When we get home all I have to do is print the kids pictures with the characters and I have a finished Disney scrapbook! Makenzie came with me to JoAnns yesterday to get supplies. She was excited!!!! Until we realized that they were out of the Disney Princesses chipboard!!!! I promised her that we would get it soon. : )

We had a fun day today. The kids had swim lessons. Everyone did really well!!! Laynee had a blast! Then the twins had dance class. And they were the cutest ones there, of course. Then, this afternoon we all made chocolate chip cookies together. After our yummy dinner (thank you Scott!) we looked through the Disney tour book together. I just love those kiddos! And you too, Scott!

MORE swimming in the backyard!!!!

Are you getting sick of seeing pictures of my kids swimming yet? Sorry!!! But they swim nearly every day. And they always look so happy that I can't stop taking pictures. Trust me- Scott has tried to stop me!!!!

Yesterday Kyler asked so sweetly if they could swim in the kiddie pool in the backyard. There was no way we could say no!

After swimming we went up to the Valley. We stopped at Barnes and Noble and got a tour book for our trip to Disneyland next month. The kids were so excited! They were all talking about which rides they want to go on and which characters they want to see. Laynee said that she wanted to see Minnie Mouse and Kyler said "But Laynee, dont you remember? You are scared of characters." We were laughing!!! But in all seriousness, Laynee is petrified of characters and so we are crossing our fingers that she won't scream every single time she sees a character!!!

After Barnes and Noble, we went to Oreganos for pizza and Pazookie! Yum!!!

I just wanted to share a Digi Scrapbook page that I made with some pictures I took of Laynee a few weeks ago. I had her hair all French Braided and I thought that was reason enough to take some pictures!!!

Swim Lessons

All four kids have been going to swim lessons 4 days per week for the past two weeks! And they still have 2 more weeks. And since it's going pretty well, I am thinking about signing them up for the third session too. But we'll see.......

Kyler LOVES the lessons. He has come so far from the days of running from the pool screaming with the life guard chasing him down! He is still cautious about putting his head under water. He had a great time going down the slide with daddy yesterday!

Danika, on the other hand, always has her head under water!!!! She lays on her belly with her face in the water. It's strange!!! But she is doing really well with lessons since she does not seem to be afraid at all.

Makenzie loves to swim around the shallow end, but does not put her head under! It was so cute because she had a little crush on her swim teacher!!!!

The first day, Laynee was fine. But then the next 5 she screamed bloody murder through the whole lesson!!!! Then the last 2 she started to calm down a bit. She always insists that she doesn't want to get her hair wet!

My Twin Ballerinas!

Yesterday afternoon I took the twins out to shop for Ballet shoes and leotards! They were estatic! I wish you could have seen the way their faces lit up when they saw all the dance shoes at the store! So cute!!! And as we were leaving Target with leotards and tights, Makenzie said "Mommy, I am SO excited!" Awww!!!
So today was the first day of class. It is just a Parks and Rec class. In August Makenzie is going to start going to a dance studio. But Danika picked to do Piano lessons instead. Darn! The dance class is so much cheeper!! Oh well!! I had a blast today watching the girls learn how to jazz walk. How did they get so big??!!!!

Summer Portraits

Scott and I took the kids to have their summer portraits done today. I LOVE picture day. Scott does not!!! But we have a deal that I get professional pictures done 2 times per year: Christmas nd Summer. The kids were behaved today. It was just hard to keep them still! But the pictures still came out good. She took about 150 of them. I am just showing you a sample!

And we had to go for an outfit change!

Tough Week

I had a tough week. I even landed myself in the hospital. I am just so very lucky that I have Scott! He has been taking care of me, the kids, and the house. Plus he works full time! Thank you, sweetie. I don't know what I would do without you!

Some Updates

So get this.......I don't have any new pictures to share with you!!! Wow, huh!!! I mean I usually take over 100 pics a week!!! But now that it is so hot outside, the kids have just been playing in the toy room and watching lots of cartoons. However, they did start swim lessons today so I am sure there will be more swimming pictures soon!

I have news to share though. I have decided to go back to school in the Fall. I am going to get my teaching certification for secondary education. The program is completly online through Northern Arizona University. I only have to complete 10 classes and do student teaching to be a high school teacher. I am not sure how long it will take me to finish the program. But I will go as slow as I need to. The kids are my first priority and I don't want to go back to work until they are all in school anyway.

Swimming at the BIG pool!!!!

I LOVE to take pictures of the kids swimming. I will probably take about 1000 before the sumer is over. They are always smiling in the pool! Makes it easier to get a good picture. Today we took the kids to the city pool. The kids call it the "Big Pool." They had a blast!!!! They weren't scared at all this year. I was walking around taking pictures of each of them and a lifeguard actually told me that I had to stop taking pictures!!!! Yikes!!! What nerve!!!! Me? Stop taking pictures?!!! Ha ha!!!! So here on the contraband pictures....

Kyler got to play with Kade, his friend from piano. Kade happened to be at the pool with his daycare. It was cute to watch them wrestle and play like boys!

Memorial Day

Anyone who knows me very well, knows that I LOVE holidays! And I always dress my kids up for holidays! So I just HAD to dress everyone in Red, White, and Blue for Memorial Day! ANd since we all matched- we needed a family photo! Out came the tri-pod! I need to teach those dogs to take pictures!!!!Now aren't we just adorable?!

We went to a BBQ on Memorial Day. The kids had fun playing with other kids. Then later in the afternoon, we let them go swimming in the kiddie pool in the backyard. More fun!

New Members of our Family...

For as long as I have known Scott, he has always wanted fish. I don't understand why. But he finds them fascinating. About a year ago, Kyler starting asking for fish. I am not sure if Scott put im up to that or if he came up with it on his own. But this week- I finally gave in to my boys!!!! We took the kids to Petsmart and each kid got to pick a fish for our new tank.
