My brother got married this past Friday at a resort in Scottsdale. It was a beautiful wedding. And they had the CUTEST ring bearer ; )

I took tons and tons of pics, but I am just going to share a handful. (Mostly because I am sick and don't have the patience to upload many more!)

A Super Sunday!!!

It's Sunday evening. Scott is at work and all the kids are in bed. And I feel like it was such a fun day! I got to spend some individual time with some of the kids (which is rare!) and we got to do things together as a family too.

This morning, Makenzie and I were cuddling in bed together and we decided it would be nice if we made an egg breakfast for the whole family. So she was my big helper. And we all enjoyed a breakfast together. That is very rare!

Then Makenzie and I went to do some shopping together. We had lots of time to talk and I love that. And while we were gone- Laynee dusted, Kyler cleaned the bathroom, and Danika helped to fold laundry. They were so excited about being big helpers!!!! Woooo Hooo!!! I see a chore chart coming in our very near future ; )

Kyler was my lunch helper. We made grilled cheese sandwiches (his choice) for everyone.

Then it was nap time. I got a whole bunch of homework done while the kids were napping. I am stressing a bit about getting everything done this week since it is my brother's wedding. I have some more favors to make and the place cards. Plu, I have to pack the family to be away for 2 nights. Plus I have my usual stuff: piano lessons, dance lessons, preschool, parent/teacher conferences, bible study and my school work. All this must be done by the time we go to bed Wednesday!!!! So I felt so good about getting a head start on my homework!!!

After naps- we made a craft project with all of the kids. Makenzie and I got gords at the grocery stor (78 cents!) and the kids painted them black and made them into Halloween cats!!!! Here are some pics of the craft....

And here are the finished projects......

Adorable, right????

Now who is sweeter in this pic???

After the craft was done, Scott took Makenzie, Laynee and Kyler to the park to play some soccer. Danika stayed home with me. We baked 2 pumpkin pies and made a chicken casserole for dinner. She loves cooking and baking!!!! And I have found that if she helps to make it- she will eat it. Otherwise, she is super picky.

And now I am all caught up on my blogging too!!!!
Ever since school started I have not had any time to scrapbook. I have evn cut back significantly on my Facebook time!!!! Sacrifices!!!! I am off to do my homework!

More Fun Fall Fashion!

My kids are getting used to stopping for a photo every day on our way out of the house. They have the routine down!!!

Here they are yesterday as we were leaving to go see Toy Story Double feature in 3D. (So fun!!!)

Makenzie was just feeling so so. I told her we could stay home and watch the movie but she got upset about that. Since she hadn't thrown up since the night before, I let her go. And she did just fine!

And here they are this morning in yet another Halloween outfit!!!! I got them this dress last year and it was a tad short this year so I just got some black leggings to go under it!ANd when I had the girls' dresses made I asked the lady to make Kyler a matching shirt. Love it!

I still have one more Halloween outfit that they haven't worn yet this year!!! Then we will have to start repeating.

Poor Makenzie

Poor Makenzie came home sick from preschool on Friday. She threw up all day on Friday. I felt so sorry for the girl. She would fall asleep and then wake up a few minutes later to throw up. Then as I was getting her settled in Laynee's room for the night (so Danika and Laynee wouldn't be awaoken during the night and to prevent as much germ sharing as possible) Danika threw up all over her bed. Darn!!!! I hate having sick kids. You feel so bad, but you can't really do much to help them.

But now it is Sunday and all my kids are healthy again!

Fall Fashion

By now you must all know how much I adore dressing my kids in cute outfits!!! I especially love dressing them in Halloween and Christmas outfits!!! Since yesterday was the 1st, they got to start wearing the Halloween clothes!

And then another set of dresses today....

Are you wondering why no pics of Kyler???? Today was his school picture day!!! Check him out...

Seriouslly, he looked adorable today!!!!

Scott and I went to the Brad Paisley/ Dierks Bently concert last night in Phoenix!!! It was one of the very best concerts I have ever been too!!!! I danced, and sang, and screamed the entire time. Not much voice today!!!! And hardly any sleep for us! I don't really have any pictures because the security guard wouldn't let me bring my camera in because he said it looked too professional. Scott had to make a mile jog back to the car with it. And when we got to our seats, I was a little annoyed to see tons of people with camera just like mine. I guess we got the security guard who is a stickler :(

My poor Makenzie is sitting next to me on the couch right now. She went to preschool today feeling fine. But after an hour she threw up and had to come home. She has been throwing up every 20 minutes for the last couple hours. I feel so sorry for her :( I am hoping she gets better fast and that the other kids don't catch it.
