Playing with Paint

Scott and I have been painting our Master Bedroom and Bathroom for the past couple of days. It was quite the project!!! After spending the entire day painting yesterday, I slept like a rock! We still have a little left to do. Plus, we have some touch ups. But the majority of the work is done and I am loving the color in my bedroom! I will show you soon. But I need to get some curtains and get the room looking good before I take a pic! Here are a couple of pictures that Scott took of me painting on Sunday night. And yes, I am drinking wine while paintng. It made it so much more enjoyable!



Oh- and I just realized that I am wearing my daughter's barret! She wanted me to!!! I guess I didn't take it out!

Playing at the Park!!!

Yesterday we took the kids to play at the park for a couple of hours. We came home with scraped knees and tired kids! But we had so much fun!!!

Date Night

We do not get to go out often! We get a date night about 3 times per year!!! But when we do- we do a happy dance!!!! So fun!!!! Scott acually arrainged this date night. The kids went to grandparents houses and we went for dinner and then to see The King and I! A real date!!!

Dinner was AMAZING!!!!! Seriously!!! The show was...ok. We felt really cramped and weren't real impressed with the male lead.

But time with my sweet and hard working hubby is so priceless!!!!

Kyler's Recital

We had such a busy anf FUN weekend, that I am going to have to do a few posts to get all my pictures up!!!

On Satuday we went to lunch with my parents, Aunt Kathy and Pa. Then Kyler had a recital with his piano class. But they were actually singing a song. Here are all my sweet kiddos before the recital!

Isn't he so handsome?!!!! And he has gotten used to me taking a millipon pictures and just smiles on command. Love it!

Playing Dess Up

Aren't they cute?! Kenzie is smiling for my camera without taking her eyes off the tv! The kids play dress up nearly every night. And Kyler is still wearing his Halloween costume. He is certain that he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. This morning he told me that he was not going to get married and have babies because there isn't room for baby seats in the fire truck. he is a character!

King of the Haans

Scott has a new gadget. If you have known Scott for long, then you know he has a love for vacumns. Not sure why. But he does. And he ordered this steam sanitizer from an infomercial. It works wonders! No more mopping. No more buying soaps and chemicals! It even works on counters and mattresses, etc. Scott is happy!

Valentine's Festivities

The kids and I went to my parents house yesterday. We played outside, watched a movie, and frosted cookies. Scott joined us when he got done at school and we all had dinner and a heart cake together.

My Girls

I caught this cute pic of all three of my girls last night after baths!

I got my Valentine's Day gift from my hubby last night!!! Amd I am one very lucky girl!!! He got me a new wedding band and setting for my solitaire! And it was a complete surprise!!!!

I have wanted a White Gold wedding ring for some time. But I ddin't think I would get one until like my 10th wedding anniversary or something. But Scott started shopping for the ring back in November. He would go to the jewerly store on his way to work. But since he didn't want me to suspect anything- he would only go for about 5 minutes each day until he found the ring he liked!!! In Decmeber he found the ring and put in on layaway.

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned to him that my diamond seemed loose in the setting and I wanted to take it in to be fixed. So I dropped the ring off to be fixed and sized on Friday afternoon. While talking to the jewler- I told him how much I wanted a white gold ring! After I left the store, my hubby called them and made the final payment on the new ring and had my diamond mounted in in and the ring sized. He picked it up on his way home from school yesterday. The same jewler was there and Scott said everyone was amazed by his sweet gift!!!

When he gave it to me last night- I was in complete shock!!! That was a lot of planning and thought! And the ring is gorgeous!!!!

My sweet hubby is setting a high standard for men everywhere this Valentine's Day!!!

A Digi Scrapbook Layout

All kids are healthy again!!!! We did have to take Laynee to the doctor yasterday. This is a little gross so scroll down if you have a weak stomach. She has had constipation for the past year and a half. She litterally screams while having a bowel movement. Sometimes it lasts for 45 minutes or longer. We have taken her to the doctor about this before and he just said that she would grow out of it. Well that has not been the case. So now we have to clean out her bowels (it is as gross as it sounds!) and then start her on a constipation medicine that she will be taking for at least the next 6 months. Fun, huh? My poor baby!

I haven't really taken many pictures the last several days. I know- shocker, huh? But I do have a fun Digital Scrapbook layout that I did last week. I used a couple cute pictures of the twins from Christmas. Enjoy!

More Sick Kids...

So Kyler is better now after 2 days of throwing up. And now Danika is throwing up : ( Right now she is sleeping while we watch the superbowl pregame show!
