Disney Scrapbook Layout

While the kids and I have been on Spring Break, I have found some time for scrapbooking! I finally scrapbooked our trip to Disneyland from last summer! In previous years I have made mini albums for our Disney trips. But since we go every year, I was getting bored coming up with new layouts. So I decided that 1 layout that is full of pictures is better than just not scrapping it at all. I think that sometimes we scrappers get too focused on trying to scrap ALL our pictures and EVERY event- that we get overwhelmed and quit. That is why I have started doing Year in Review albums like this. (I'll post my 2011 one soon!)

Our Nation's Capitol

We are back from our back East trip! We had such a fun time and I am a little sad that it is already over. I get post trip depression. I get post holiday depression as well. My husband thinks I am weird, but I have my fingers crossed that I am not the only one who experiences this!

Our trip started in Washington DC. I LOVED it! I love the old time charm that the city has. I love that you can see the Washington Monument all over the city. I LOVED the museums and the Supreme Court! While I was on the trip- I was already planning my scrapbook. So as soon as we got home- I got to work. The tough part is sorting through the 700 pictures that I took! My first layout is about our tour of the capitol.

2010 Month by Month

I had fun looking through my pictures from this past year as I made this scrapbook album! We sure did have some fun!

Play Ball Like a Girl

Scott's birthday was last week. I was going to upload some pictures, but then I realized they are still on my camera. Ooops! We celebrated all weekend by eating out a couple times, lots of football, shopping, and taking the kids to gymnastics. It wasn't anything big, but kinda laid back. Just the way Scott likes it. Now next year will be a different story. It will be the big 30!!!

I have been incredibly busy and have had no time to stamp or scrapbook really. But I did stay up a little late one night to make this page about the girls dancing at the Dbacks game.

I have not had much of any time to scrapbook since going back to school last fall. And this summer is just flying by. The kids are keeping me so busy! But it is fun!!! I treasure the albums I have made for the kids and I might be behind, but I am not quitting. So right now I have pneumonia. It really bites!!! But it has given me some time to just sit and read, relax, and scrap! So here are a few layouts.....

Oh, and only 2 more sleaps until we leave for Huntington Beach and Disneyland!!! The high is only expected to me 75! We are super excited and feel blessed to have this special time with the kids before they start school in a little over 2 weeks.

My Valentine

It was so much fun to have an entire day to ourselves to celebrate Valentine's Day!

We went and did some shopping together. Scott was thrilled when we went to Costco and I was excited to hit Carters and the mall!!! Then we went to Black Angus for steak, shrimp and wine for dinner. Finally, we went and saw the movie Dear John. We went to a movie after dark! I can't remember the last time we got to do that!!! I love my sweet husband and so enjoyed spending time with him!

Out of this World!

For Christmas, we gave Kyler a new room!!! His room was decorated in a sports theme since he was about a year old. But Kyler doesn't like sports!!! So it really wasn't a room that showed his personality. Now he has an outer space bedroom! He has glow in the dark planets that hang from the the ceiling. He has outer space bedding and a rug. He has the coolest remote controlled moon! And a rocket alarm clock!!! It looks awesome at night. So here is a scrapbook layout about his new room....
