Christmas Afternoon/ Evening

Sorry it has taken so long to finish posting Christmas pictures, but I got sick again on Sunday and haven't felt well since.

So on Christmas, when the rest of the family arrived, we opened gifts again!

Then we had Turkey and Ham dinner with all of the fixings. Yum! Scott, my dad, and I were the Chief Cooks while my mom and aunt were in charge of the kids and Pa!

It has become tradition for the kids to put olives on their fingers. When we were telling Kyler all the things we would be having for dinner he said "I will put the olives on my fingers and then mommy will take a picture." Hmmm...you think I might take too many pictures of them! Never!

Edward slept through dinner preparation so he was lucky enough to be the official dish washer! There were A TON of dishes! But he was a good sport and with help, the kitchen was clean in record time.
And then we had home made pies for dessert and opened MORE presents!!!!

This is Danika being silly!

Laynee enjoying her pie!

Aunt Kathy gave Kyler this little stuffed Mickey Mouse. We will be taking it with us to Disney World in less than a week!!! I may be more excited than Kyler! But when he gets there- he will see why I was so excited!!!

Aunt Kathy gave the girls a doll house. It was all put together and waiting in the garage. So the girls were told to sit in the toy room with their eyes closed while it was brought in. Aren't they cute?!
So as you can see, the kids opened presents from the moment that woke up until they went to sleep!!! I think we may have more toys, books and movies than the average toy store! And to top it all off- we went to Johnny and Lorrie's house the day after Christmas and opened tons more gifts!!!! We sure are blessed. And spoiled!
Right this very moment, there is a Milk Chocolate Cheesecake baking in the oven!!! I am still not feeling well but if anything could make me feel better, this may be it! The kids and I are bringing the cake to my parent's house tonight for a New Year's Eve dinner. Scott has to work : (
Hope everyoe has a Happy New Year!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was just the 6 of us. But check out the cool gifts that Santa brought!!!

The pink and purple Barbie Jeep is for the twins!

Laynee got her first bike!Kyler asked for a turtle. And he got one! It's not real but it is close enough for Kyler. He named him Ktiny Turtle. The "k" is silent according to Kyler!!!! He carried the thing around all day!

After gifts, Scott made us a nice breakfast which included Grandma Browns! Then we played with the new toys for a few hours while working on our Turkey and Ham dinner. We had 15 people for dinner! I will show more pictures later. Right now we are getting the kids ready to go see a movie!

Christmas Eve

We spent the day baking, cooking, cleaning, wrapping, and other things around the house. After we had a nice dinner together, we went to Christmas Eve mass. If you want a good laugh, just imagine Scott and I trying to keep all 4 kids quiet and sitting still through the service! At one point Kyler got his candy cane stuck down his pants!!! After church we drove around and looked at some Christmas lights. AT home the kids got to open one gift each from Mammy and Papa- their Christmas jammies. After we left cookies and milk for Santa and Mrs. Claus- the kids were tucked into bed and fell right to sleep!

Here are some pictures that I took of them in their church clothes. I curled all of the girls' hair!

They were the cutest kids at church!

Cutest Cow you''ll ever see!

The three "big" kids were in the Christmas play at church this morning. Danika and Kyler were cows and Kenzie was a lamb. Aren't they cute?!

Everyone is a bit sick at the Sears home. Kenzie and Scott have lost most their voices. I hope eveyone recovers in time for Christmas!!!

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!

Now that we have baked cookies, it really feels like Christmas!!!! Now don't those look delicious?! In fact, I think I need to go get one now!!! Yesterday and today, Scott and I baked some cookies. I made up 11 tins of cookies for my kids teachers! Plus, we have plenty for our family to enjoy.

Kyler helped us for a little while yesterday afternoon. He especially liked to be on quality controll! He told us that he needed to taste them to make sure they were good!

The kids looked so dang cute when they got home from school today that I decided to bribe them with candy for a few pictures!

Aren't they just too cute?!

Busy Weekend!!!

We were just running from one place to the next this past weekend!

On Friday night I taught a pretty big class. Then on Staurday morning/afternoon I had a booth at a craft show. While I was gone, Scott took the kids to play at the park. Then that night we met Aunt Kathy for dinner at Johnny Rockets and then we went to Zoolights. On Sunday morning we did grocery shopping and then church. After church I had another class and the older kids had play practice at church. Then as soon as my class left- we had company over for dinner. Scott's biologial father, David came down from Safford with his wife, Rhonda, and their daughter Brittney. Let me tell you- I fell asleep pretty early last night!!!

Here are a few pictures of David and Rhonda with the kids. I didn't realize until I uploaded the pictures that Kyler wasn't in any of them! Stinker!

Kenzie was shy around David most the night but as soon as she heard that he brought her a present- she was all cuddles and hugs! lol!
And I am really excited that Laynee made it through that entire busy weekend without a single potty accident!!!
